Rod McGarry is a Board Certified Master Fly Casting Instructor and a Registered Professional Maine Guide. He has been on the instructional team at LL Bean for the last 10 years.

In 2009 he was given the Harger Award by the Federation of Fly Fishers for his noteworthy contributions to fly fishing thru his instruction and education. McGarry shares this honor with luminaries Lefty Kreh and Dave Whitlock.

Rod will be one of the featured speakers on Saturday at 12:30 pm and Sunday at 11:30 am.  His talk is titled, “Do you want to get going or get better in fly fishing”.
