Randy McEwen grew up in Presque Isle, and now lives in Carmel, Maine and is a Registered Maine Guide.  He owns and operates Central Maine Navigation where he teaches a private Map, Compass, and GPS course. Randy is also a night instructor for United Technologies Center in Bangor teaching Outdoor Navigation and a Registered Maine Guide Recreation course and he is a long time columnist for the Northwoods Sporting Journal writing about outdoor navigation.
